The first poster, introducing the series of our poster campaign for Mainz City of Science 2011.Combining Helau a popular typical term for carnival in Mainz and the periodic table typical for science.

The following posters will follow the first introduction of the event to make people more curious about what kind of event will come up next.

The red color reminds the people of Mainz of their city´s flag which is the same color.
It is an animating and vivid color full of passion and emotion, just right to make the rather seemingly boring subject science more attractive to non-professionals.
